I always receive many special words & gifts especially at the end of the year. I thought I'd take a photo and add to my blog.  This one especially makes me feel I'm in the right place and making a difference!

See saw is also being introduced as activities to encourage must do activities for studetn agency. This links to ourt behaviour plan and key competencies. It is also introduced to help students be more independent with using seesaw. This connc=ects to home.

So what can an educator do?

Here are some tips from the reading:

It again comes back to a growth mindset and how important this is to instill in the students.
An example I use every day. I do try and always talk with children if they have made a
mistake I always articulate for them to hear great. You must be learning as you know you ’ve 

made a mistake! Better still is you know why and how to fix it. Here’s the learning!

Introducing Reflections to Juniors

As a reflective practitioner I  reflect constantly, thinking of how I can make the learners I am responsible for to be the best they can be. Sometimes too much, as I often wake at night with ideas and next steps, especially at the moment as I enter a new space.  I have really worked hard in the senior school to set the learners up so that reflecting is a part of what they do and it's so  awesome to see on seesaw a new management tool we have introduced, how students are running with this now. They are articulating that they know what they're learning, why and if they have learned it. Yay!! I feel a little envious that I'm not a major part but then I think hey I've set this up and the teachers left are rolling with it..so I must have done something right.

Due to a change in circumstances I now am having to adapt for young learners. After reading the above linked read that was shared today, it has prompted me to again adapt prompts for learners that as a teacher are a habit after every lesson. I do this, but in order for my new team I have made another, yes another prompt.
I like this and will adapt. One example I have made is:
